RUS_SVET International Youth Weekend will be held in Vladivostok from August 3 to 6, 2023. This project is aimed at supporting and developing youth creative socio-cultural initiatives.
RUS_SVET will contribute to strengthening the scientific and professional potential of young people in Russia, Asia-Pacific region, BRICS and CIS countries, stimulate the creation of new projects for sustainable development, while increasing the attractiveness of the Russian Far East.
RUS_SVET will include activities of three creative blocks.
1) “Race of Ideas” contest, where several teams will present and defend their projects, with 10 best projects being selected for implementation in the Russian Far East;
2) a festival of young entrepreneurs and scientists in the field of creative industries in the format of an interactive exhibition space;
3) international contest of new ethnic music for young people of Russia, Asia-Pacific region, BRICS and CIS countries, which has all the prospects to become a significant event on the map of music industry and to displace European analogs.
More than 50 regions of Russia and 10 countries of Asia-Pacific region, BRICS and CIS will take part in RUS_SVET. It is expected that during 4 days RUS_SVET will be visited by more than 20 thousand guests, and the information coverage of the event will amount to more than 20 million people.
The target audience of RUS_SVET are students of secondary and higher educational institutions, representatives of the musical community in the direction of “new” ethnic music, young entrepreneurs and researchers. The main age of the event participants is 21-30 years old.
The partners of the event are Rossotrudnichestvo, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and other governmental and non-governmental organizations.
