During the visit, Indian Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jayshankar will meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to discuss a range of issues on the bilateral agenda, including cooperation in the fight against the coronovirus pandemic, and to exchange views on various regional and international issues.
The Indian Foreign Minister will also meet with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov, his counterpart in the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Technological and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGC-TEC). In addition, a meeting will be held with Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation for International Affairs.
Dr. Subramaniam Jayshankar will give a speech “India-Russia relations in a changing world” at the E.M. Primakov National Research Institute of World Economics and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow.
The visit will follow a series of high-level visits between the two sides. The visit will further strengthen the special and privileged strategic partnership between the two countries.
