Vibrant Gujarat Summit was conceptualized in 2003 by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India and the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr. Narendra Modi, to re-establish Gujarat as a preferred investment destination within India. Today, the Summit has evolved into a platform for brainstorming on agendas of global socio-economic development, in addition to being a facilitator for knowledge sharing and forging effective partnerships. The 8th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, held in January 2017, witnessed participation from 25,000+ delegates from 100+ countries, including 4 Heads of States, Nobel Laureates, Captains of global industry and Thought Leaders.

The Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & industry (GCCI), which is an apex business body having riarious business entities and regional chambers of Commerce as its affiliates in Gujarat in association with Asian-African Chimber of Commerce & Industry (AACCI), which is the only chamber of its kind at the apex level to the existing bi-lateral chambers across the two regions are organizing a "Global conclave of internationl Chambers" on the
side-lines of the Vibrant Summit.
This conclave is a definite step towards providing international platform and forum to list out, deliberate and move towards action by'prominent and active Chambers of Commerce from diverse countries. The conclave will create opportunities for increased international business; technology transfer and long-term business tie ups with special focus on MSMEs amongst the pafticipating International and National Chamber of Commerce.
