India plans to increase exports to 2 billion dollars in Russia

The Indian authorities conduct negotiations about the possibility of lifting restrictions on a wide range of goods.

Narendra Modi’s administration consider the possibility of increasing exports to Russia up to $2 billion. Negotiations are underway with Moscow on changing the import conditions for a number of Indian goods.

India is going to export to the Russian Federation those goods, the supply of which has been suspended by the countries of the Western bloc. It is reported that the list will include organic and inorganic chemicals, pharmaceuticals, dairy products, tea, coffee, rice and household goods. The Indian side also intends to supply goods from third countries that have interrupted trade with Russia due to the pressure of sanctions.
