Irkutsk Oil Company and GenerationS announce the Selection of innovative oil and gas industry projects. Based on the selection results, the best startups will have the opportunity to integrate their technologies into IOC’s operations.
Applications will be accepted from April 10 to June 15, 2023 for the following areas: geology, development, operation and repair of oil production facilities; digital and predictive technologies; solutions for sustainable development of the industry. For foreign participants the whole program will be conducted in English language.
New tech developers, engineering teams with a ready-made product or technology and registered intellectual property, as well as applicants having experience of industrial introduction may participate in the Selection. “Irkutsk Oil Company is interested in pursuing new business areas, so we strive to find effective technological solutions. Participation in our Selection of innovative projects will allow teams to address the real needs of a potential customer – from theory to practice. IOC is ready to consider different partnership options from buying a product or service to licensing a technology, and that will be a good impetus for the development of project teams,” emphasized Yakov Ginzburg, Director General and CEO of Irkutsk Oil Company.

Irkutsk Oil Company (IOC) is one of Russia’s largest independent hydrocarbon producers. The company was established in 2000. It is engaged in geological study, exploration and development of 53 subsoil plots in the Irkutsk Region, the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The largest investment project of INK is a gas chemical cluster that INK is implementing in Ust-Kut. It includes gas extraction, treatment, transportation and processing facilities, a helium plant and the Irkutsk Polymer Plant. Currently, the company’s total headcount is 14 thousand employees.
