On September 4, the VI Eastern Economic Forum 2021 ended in Vladivostok. Within the framework of the forum, a dialogue “Russia-India”was held. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in it in an online format. The forum discussed the strategy of further cooperation between the countries.
India intends to act as a partner of Russia in the development of the Northern Sea Route. “Just as Russia is helping India to develop in terms of space exploration and the Gaganyan national manned flight program, India will also help Russia by acting as a partner in opening the Northern Sea Route and opening this route to international trade and commerce,” the prime minister said.
The countries are not only strengthening cooperation, but also opening up new industries for interaction. The agro-industrial sector, ceramic production, strategic rare earth minerals, as well as the diamond industry. The Prime Minister of India invited the governors of all 11 regions of the Far East to visit India at the earliest opportunity.
The Prime Minister also stressed the importance of a privileged strategic partnership not only for our countries, but also for the world as a whole.
