The action "Immortal Regiment" was held in India.
An action "Immortal Regiment" was held in the Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) in New Delhi held for the fourth time. "For the first time we had only nine portraits of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, now there are more than 20. Portraits are brought to us not only by those living in New Delhi, but even sent from other cities so that we can present them," - expert RCSC in New Delhi Lyudmila Filippova. The procession with portraits had to be canceled in connection with the temperature established in the streets above 40 degrees. Guests from the stage told about their relatives who participated in the war, then the portraits were placed on the stands in the foyer. After that, a concert was held in which the Indians and Russians took part. Adults and children read poetry, danced and sang songs dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.
Within the framework of the event, the action "St. George's ribbon" also took place. In the foyer of the RCSC there was an exhibition of drawings "The World through the Eyes of Children" and a photo exhibition TASS "The Connection of Times" was posted.
