Russia will deliver the first batch of S-400 to India by the end of the year

The first regiment of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems will arrive in India by the end of the year. This was announced by Vladimir Drozhzhov, Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia. According to the official, the delivery is proceeding according to the schedule.
“The delivery of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system to India is on schedule. The first regiment is expected to be delivered by the end of this year, ”Mr. Drozhzhov told reporters at the Aero India-2021 exhibition.
A deal between India and Russia for the supply of five regimental S-400 kits was signed in 2018. The contract amount of $ 5.43 billion became the largest in the history of Rosoboronexport.
