Putin and Modi strengthen partnering countries.

Following the talks, Vladimir Putin and Narendra Modi adopted a joint statement “Russia - India: a reliable partnership in a changing world.” This was announced by representatives of Russia and India at the document exchange ceremony. It took place after the end of the summit.
The visit of the Russian president was successful and fruitful for both parties. A number of important documents were signed. One of them is the contract for the purchase by the Indian side of the S-400 Triumph SAM. In addition, a number of documents on cooperation in such areas as: Space and transport industry, energy, trade and economic relations were signed.
Narendra Modi will visit Russia with a return visit in September 2019 as the main guest of the Eastern Economic Forum.
